Kritsky's current research program involves the history of beekeeping, the influence of Charles Darwin on biology, the evolution of the broods of periodical cicadas, and tiger beetle diversity in our national parks. Students enrolled at the College of Mount St. Joseph work with Dr. Kritsky on all of these projects, and they have been co-authors on many of his publications. Students interested in working with Dr. Kritsky should make an appointment to discuss research opportunities.
