Gryposaurus
GRIP-o-SORE-us – “Hook-nosed reptile”
Gryposaurus dates from the Late Cretaceous (80 million years ago) of Alberta, Canada. Lacking a prominent cranial (head) crest, Gryposaurus is nevertheless characterized by a distinctive “Roman nose”.
