Dimorphodon

Die-MOR-foe-don – “Double-shaped tooth”

Dimorphodon flew during the Early Jurassic (180 million years ago) of southwestern England. The extinct flying reptiles, or pterosaurs (TAIR-o-sores, “winged reptiles”), were only distantly related to dinosaurs. Dimorphodon may have used its two types of teeth to catch and eat insects or small fish.
