Currently
a full time assistant professor of religious and pastoral studies, I
have taught courses in theological reflection, pastoral ministry and
systematic theology in degree programs and lay ministry development
programs. Areas of pastoral ministry expertise include the expanding
concern for Earth, social justice, systematic and contextual
theologies in pastoral care, and cross-cultural religious
exchange. I have done extensive research using metaphors in post
cross-cultural spiritual care processes. I am a native of Illinois
and have lived in New Mexico and Colorado. As a junior high teacher, I
had the privilege to live and work with the people of Zuni, New
Mexico. This experience has forever changed my worldview and
enhanced my
understanding of cross-cultural relationships.
