Professional History:
I have taught at the Mount since 2001. I previously taught in the Division of Communication and Fine Arts at Ohio Dominican College and in the School of Journalism and Communication at Ohio State University. Courses taught at these other institutions include Introduction to Public Speaking, Communication and Society, Argumentation and Debate, Presentational Speaking in the Organization, Foundations of Oral Communication, Organizational Communication, and Principles of Public Relations.
Prior to teaching in higher education, I combined my role as a
"stay-at-home mom" with a variety of volunteer positions and
activities, including reading tutor, speech team coach and judge, workshop
presenter, retreat director, liturgy planner, music minister, children's choir
director, etc.
